BT-42 was added with War Thunder Fire and Ice major update as part of Finland subtree to Sweden.

The BT-42 was a Finnish assault gun, constructed during the Continuation War. It was constructed from captured Soviet BT-7 light tanks and was armed with a British 4.5-inch (114 mm) howitzer.
