I have a lot of viewers that reached out after my Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Vlog series asking if I could make educational content for that program. I decided to start with a guide on how to use the Systematic Approach to Tasting (SAT) for the WSET 2 since a lot of the folks I talk to seem to be nervous about evaluating wine at this level.

The video is part explanation on how to use the SAT score card in performing an assessment and part "taste along." I will review three wines in this video, but I tried to choose wines that you can find in your local grocery/wine store. The wines are:
►2017 Kendall Jackson Grand Reserve Chardonnay from California
►2019 Kim Crawford Rosé from New Zealand
►2009 Pata Negra Gran Reserva Tempranillo from Valdepeñas, Spain
I encourage you to grab the bottles at your convenience and do that tasting with me.

If this video does well, then I make look into making a tasting guide for the WSET 3 and/or more content for the WSET 2 exam prep. Your comments and feedback can help guide what that content will look like for the channel.
