If there’s anything we’ve learned following urban planning and city politics it’s that questioning the role of cars in cities really strikes a nerve. Policies like bike lanes, pedestrian streets, transit priority, and traffic calming are dismissed as a war waged against suburbanites and their cars by people who live downtown. In this video we question whether this view of the debate really makes sense.
