Upgrading a late 2012 iMac to a 1 TB Solid State Drive. Was it worth it? Absolutely! Did it make the computer faster? You bet! Were there some setbacks? Of course!
Hopefully you can learn from my mistake and get through this project without a cracked screen! Proceed at your own risk. For me, the risk was worth it.

Before I started the project, I needed to clone the original HD to the new SSD.
