The Queen has arrived in the Irish Republic for the start of an historic state visit.
The monarch, dressed in emerald green and accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, landed at Baldonnel aerodrome at around midday.
She was greeted by British Ambassador Julian King, Ireland's Ambassador to the UK Bobby McDonagh and Ireland's deputy prime minister, Tanaiste Eamon Gilmore.
