Welcome to yet another new channel segment, PlumbingsCool INSPECTION!

Our mission with INSPECTION is to take you on-location to real-world scenarios, where we'll investigate, dissect, and critique all kinds of existing plumbing installations. More importantly, we'll also explain specifically what's wrong with it and advise how it should be done right...with Building Code references to back it all up. The intention is to not only educate budding Plumbing Apprentices, but also the like of home inspectors, do-it-yourselfers, and even potential home buyers, for exactly what to look out for, and to avoid when evaluating or even installing plumbing systems. Hope it brings you some value and insight!

In this first video of the series, goodness me, do we ever have a textbook example of how NOT to install a plumbing system!

The new homeowners have recently purchased this older resale Ontario home without a thorough home inspection. To be fair (and no offence to the many outstanding home inspectors out there) chances are that a home inspector would have missed many of all of this home's often-concealed plumbing deficiencies (and I assure you that this property has TONS!).

So sit back and critique along with me (or perhaps even disagree!) as we get into the nitty-gritty of all that's wrong with this otherwise-quaint home's disastrous plumbing system.
