The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard CA has issued
a Flood Warning for the following rivers in California...

Ventura River At Foster Park affecting Ventura County.

For the Ventura River...including Foster Park...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The next statement will be issued late tonight at 200 AM PST.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING TO LATE TOMORROW
MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Ventura River at Foster Park.

* WHEN...From this evening to late tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 17.6 feet, Ventura river begins to flood the ferro
ranch area upstream of the Main Street bridge in ventura.
At 19.1 feet, Ventura river begins to flood the Ventura Beach RV
Resort.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 AM PST Sunday the stage was 6.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 15.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this evening to a crest of 18.1 feet late this evening. It
will then fall below flood stage late this evening.
- Flood stage is 17.6 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
18.2 feet on 01/05/2023.
