The diplomatic row between Poland and Russia has escalated after Moscow’s envoy ignored a summon issued by Warsaw. Poland's foreign ministry has said that the Russian envoy failed to show up for explanation on alleged breach of Polish airspace. On March 24, Poland said that a Russian cruise missile fired at western Ukraine breached Polish airspace overnight for 39 seconds.
The Polish foreign ministry said that "a diplomatic note demanding an explanation will be transmitted another way to the Russian foreign ministry."
Poland had earlier demanded an explanation from Moscow over the alleged airspace breach.
