The Toyota Tundra has always been a steady seller, but never able to catch the full-size trucks offered by the three Detroit automakers. And Toyota seemed okay with that, occasionally updating it, but overall keeping the same basic truck it first introduced for 2007.

But now there’s an all-new third-generation for 2022, and it looks like Toyota’s serious about taking a bigger bite out of the full-size segment. Not only is the Tundra redesigned, but for the first time, it’ll also be offered as a hybrid.
