First off I did check the oil. Thanks to ZIPTIESANDBIASPLIES for the idea of using WD-40 for starting the diesel truck. This is the first time I have ever driven a stick my only experience is YouTube and showing me have it works and believe it or not it's easier then you think to drive. Info on this truck- the engine is not original it is a replacement my Grampa got it around 94k miles and now has 157k he has also replaced the clutch. The reason it has sat for so long it that a part of the fuel system leaks and takes a long time to start and also the glow plugs are going bad and the clutch that is in it right now jerks alot... if I find anything else I'll add it.
