On the second day of the weekend, I finally felt back to my old self and was immediately on the pace from the first run. When I'm operating this way, I don't need to watch the times and my mind is clear, focused entirely on squeezing everything out of the car and the course.

My first three runs of the day were a 62.277+1, 61.925, 61.724 - very close to my fastest. My best clean run of the day was this 61.627, first of the afternoon session. Top time of day and top PAX were not in the cards given some of the other cars running, but this was good enough for third overall and second in PAX.

I suspect I'm losing out in terms of distance traveled in a few places, the first hairpin in particular, and I missed the left-hand apex onto the wider section. Those are definitely worth a few tenths. But regardless, it felt good to be back into a true 'flow' state.

Also of note: this was my first weekend on Bridgestone's RE-71RS tires, and they are fantastic. Grippy, responsive, and providing an overall balance further toward oversteer than the Yokohama A052's.
