Part 2 of my Jaguar XJC John Steed Replica Project. Get all the updates on the project.

This model of the New Avengers John Steed car, is being used to help me build a Broadspeed replica from a Jaguar XJ coupe.

It's going to become my John Steed New Avengers XJC.

Instead of creating a model based on the car, we're creating a car based on a model!

Am I doing the right thing?

With an engine transplanted from a Jaguar XJR supercharged V8, it's going to be a beast.

In part 2 of this project, I talk about why I’ve gone for a manual gearbox from a Jaguar XF Diesel.

Also I’ve wavered on the dashboard - should I go for turned aluminium or wood?

The Steed car, and its relationship with the Leyland Broadspeed XJC race car, is also explored.

I have now have updated information from Model Mania about the Broadspeed Kent compomotive alloy wheels.
