But despite this, everyone wears these comfortable flip-flops. They are easy to wash, when your feet are swollen from water, they are the only thing that saves you.
And they have a variety of colors. You can choose according to your taste.
The slates wear out quickly, enough for two seasons at most. The main problem is that the strips that hold the foot are torn, or they jump out of the sole.
Because of their inexpensive price, you don’t mind throwing them away and buying new ones.
But I have these old, forgotten, worthless flip-flops lying around in my closet.
Here I made light, airy flip-flops from them. It turned out very cool and original. You can go to the sea.
Now I confidently consider myself a “shoe designer”. Because there is convenience and beauty here.

Anyone can make these flip-flops and come up with their own design.
How to do it:
1) Free the sole from the stripes.
2) Crochet a chain using air loops from jute twine.
3) Using a hot gun, glue this rope in a circle. Start from the outside. The glue eats into the rubber, and the twine is firmly connected to the sole.
4) For the top part, take any fabric. Also prepare a piece of thick grosgrain ribbon or something suitable. This piece is slightly smaller in size than the main fabric.
5) Measure your foot at the toes and slightly above. The result will be a trapezoid-shaped pattern.
This size is custom made. At the edges, provide allowances for attachment to the sole.
6) Wrap the fabric this way.
7) Glue this part to the sole.
8) Tie another piece of chain and glue it on the sides of the sole in two rows. Just 2 mm of exposed rubber remains so that the rope does not come into contact with the ground.
9) Decorate the flip-flops with a flower made from two strips of fabric gathered into a “tatyanka”.
Hot glue, rubber and twine were firmly attached to each other, and the flip flops turned out well.
