The New Super Mario Bros. series has quite the reputation. New Super Mario Bros. 2 and New Super Mario Bros. U are often seen as bad games. While the first two on Nintendo DS and Wii have fared slightly better. That is likely because they were far more creative and had a lot more going for them. While I have been wanting a new 2D Mario game most notably with The Super Mario Bros. Movie, they really have to make something unique and different. A new 3D Mario or Super Mario Odyssey 2 would be nice as well. But with Nintendo Switch Online getting Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games, we just got Super Mario Advance 4 with the exclusive e-Reader levels. These were so inaccessible, they pretty much were lost media. It did get a re-release on the Wii U eShop, but that won't be up much longer. Revisiting these levels proved to be a surprise! Let's hope we can get Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald on Nintendo Switch next!
