I finally have the PM-940 up and running. The steppers are all Nema 34 with the X and Y being 900 oz and the Z 1200 oz.

I have installed a VFD and my first impression of the 940 gear head is its really quit for a gear head. It also has a slightly higher speed than most at 1970 RPM. With a VFD setting at 100 HZ that should give me around 3200 RPM which is not too bad.

I need to do a bit of tramming and I will be making my first part in a day or so.
