The Toffee Apples Class 31 Pack was a separate payware expansion pack by Making Tracks after the release of Great Eastern, Scottish Capital Express and the Evesham Branch. It contained a variety of different class 31s from the early BR Green era to BR Blue as well as the experimental liveries such as Golden Ochre and Experimental Blue with Small Yellow Panels, The addon has now been redistributed as freeware and can be downloaded from Train Sim Safehouse found below along with activities for Great Eastern...

The activity featured is Toffee Apple to Manningtree which recreates a scenario of Class 31s being placed on suburban passenger workings between Harwich and Manningtree as a temporary measure due to a shortage of the regular Class 321 EMUs. The locomotive featured is the rather unique Stratford BR Blue with Silver Roof liveried 31005. Overall the Toffee Apples class 31 pack is an excellent addon as is the Great Eastern route both of which have superb detail and were way ahead of there time.

With MSTS no longer being playable on windows, anyone wanting to play this old retro simulator shall have to download OpenRails which is basically a remastered/revisited version of this classic game making it compatible to run on modern day computers. It can be downloaded from the link below, it is recommended to have a copy of Microsoft Train Simulator installed to your computer for this game.
