Dom Angiollo, an attorney-advisor at the U.S. Air Force Academy specializing in military justice and policy, teaches an upper-level legal studies course titled Law 414: Race, Sex and Justice. Angiollo also directs the legal office’s cadet internship program. He has co-authored various policies, including the original Safe to Report policy at the Academy, which was subsequently adopted by Congress and implemented across the Department of Defense. His work on the U.S. Air Force Academy Transgender Working Group and the DoD Service Academy Dependency Policy Working Group led to removing the barriers to service for many cadets. He is also the legal advisor to Falcon Athena (formerly Women’s Initiative Team) at the Academy and a Reserve JAG assigned to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona.

Angiollo served on active duty as an Air Force judge advocate from 2005-14, deploying in 2008 in support of Operation: Iraqi Freedom. He received an ROTC commission as a second lieutenant upon graduating from the University of Notre Dame and then attended Notre Dame Law School.

Angiollo currently serves on the Board of Directors and Policy Advocacy Committee for Inside-Out Youth Services, a local non-profit organization that builds access, equity, and power with LGBTQIA2+ young people.

Angiollo graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from the University of Notre Dame and earned a doctorate from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
