Self-love is inherent in every one of us, and necessary for living a wholesome life. Loving yourself can be one of the hardest, yet most important things you’ll ever do. Loving yourself is not selfish.

If you read human history many centuries ago, you will know about the crown of self-love where that history is recorded by the enlightened spiritual, gurus, teachers, ministers, rabbis, and village elders. And they all point to unconditional self-love as one of the gateways to the crown human experience.

If you want to love yourself unconditionally, first you have to accept yourself. Refuse to criticize yourself. Accept yourself exactly as you are. If you believe that loving yourself means you can't love someone else enough then you must also believe that love is a scarce commodity.

In fact, if you can love yourself unconditionally then you will have a universe of love to give to others. When you’re suffering, it feels like everything is out of your control.

Learn to forgive those you judge, learn to accept your insecurities as your strengths and your uniqueness, learn to come from a place where you want to improve yourself because it is part of the growth of life where I don't like it and I promise you you will learn to love yourself.

So it’s impossible to love yourself if you don’t even know who you are. Invest in discovering what you believe, value, and like.
