We get the last of our powerful resources: the gold card. This item allows for infinite copies of the Power Rush and Power Rush P badges, completing our build. We then showcase the power of it on our rival, Lord Crump.

The Thousand Year Door is one of my favorite games of all time, due to a combination of mechanical depth and nostalgia. I've done countless runs of this game. My Go-To Challenge run is a 0 Growths/0 Experience run, so it was inevitable that I would do a level 1 run of this game. Here are the rules, and logic behind them.

1) Mario will never gain experience. This is self explanatory.
2) Superguards are banned. I want to solve these battles with tactics instead of reflexes.
3) Kiss Thief/Randomly Dropped Items and Badges are banned. I only want to use the resources you are guaranteed, to get. That said, I have given myself infinite money as a time saver, as TTYD features several easy ways to get infinite money.
4) The entire game must be played in order, rather than using glitches to skip fights, chapters, etc. I show off a couple of glitches, including an early shine sprite, but never use them to advance the story or access resources I should not have yet (I use the early shine sprite to upgrade a partner who will not be used in battle)
