Today is another comparison, looking at the 6.2L supercharged Hemi V8 engine found in the Hellcat, and the 6.2L High Output version of that found under the hood of the upgraded Hellcat Redeye, Super Stock, and Demon. We’ll go back and forth for each engine, starting with an overview, then look at the differences of various aspects of each engine, like power output, block, rotating assembly, cylinder heads, supercharger, gas consumption, and more. We’ll also evaluate if it’s really worth it to spend the extra money on the Redeye engine versus the regular Hellcat. Also one important point, the Redeye, Demon, and Super Stock all share the same 6.2L High Output version, so while we are focusing on the Redeye, many of the same specs will apply to the other two vehicles.
