This process works with the wifi capable door sensors. You can use this to reset and pair new and aftermarket sensors with cox/xfiniti touchscreens and wifi hubs.

You have to make sure to repeatedly open and close the sensors when pairing so the hub or touchscreen can read the action(s) properly. Be patient as sometimes it can take 10-30 seconds. After that you can just name it and place it. Hope this helps.
