Ingredients for making turkey grilled cheese sandwich with sourdough bread:
sourdough bread
butter
mozzarella cheese (could be any cheese that melts)
gravy
cranberry sauce

Instructions for making grilled cheese sandwich with your leftover turkey:
- Start by buttering two slices of your favourite bread, we went with some home made sourdough but this is your sandwich so pick what you like
- Once you have a nice layer on both slices, put them butter side down on a pan over medium heat
- Now butter the other sides of each slice, you could also use other condiments like mayonnaise if you prefer, it’s totally up to you
- Next it’s cheese time, we used shredded mozzarella because it melts beautifully but feel free to use pretty much any cheese you like as long as it melts fairly well
- We then added sliced turkey breast, gravy and cranberry sauce
- Again, this is your sandwich so add all your favourite Christmas leftovers, add stuffing or mashed potatoes
- Top with more cheese to secure the fillings inside, you could even use two different kinds of cheese if you want then place the other slice of bread on top and wait
- Grilled cheese sandwiches are all about patience, you want to cook it low and slow so the cheese has a chance to melt before the bread gets too toasted
- Once you notice the cheese starting to melt, give the sandwich a flip and cook the other side
- If you’re lucky some of the cheese will leak out and make these delicious crispy bits on your sandwich
- After the cheese has melted fully and both sides are nicely browned, remove it from the heat
- Serve immediately so the cheese stays nice and gooey, hope you enjoy
