Kings and Generals animated historical animated documentary series on the Hundred Years' War continues with a video on the battle of Poitiers 1356. In the aftermath of the battle of Crecy (   • Battle of Crecy 1346 - Hundred Years'...  ), the king of France Philip VI and the king of England Edward wrestle for dominance using diplomacy and involving the Pope and the king of Navarre Charles II. However, as diplomacy failed, England restarted the war and the king's son Edward the Black Prince embarked on the Grand Chevauchee of 1355, which eventually leads to the famous battle of Poitiers. More episodes of this Anglo-French War are on the way, with the videos on Poitiers, La Rochelle, Agincourt, Orleans, Formigny, and Castillon.
