Jaguar Land Rover, or 'JLR' as it's known now, plans to introduce six BEVs Battery-Electric Vehicles) by 2026, beginning with a variant of the swanky new fifth-gen Range Rover. The flagship electric SUV from the British automaker is expected to be one of the classiest and most comfortable models in the full-size electric SUV segment.

The Range Rover Electric will compete with the Cadillac Escalade IQ and Mercedes EQS SUV, both of which were designed and engineered to be EVs from the ground up, with U.S. manufacturing. Even though it'll be a conversion of a gas model, it may find a lot of takers globally, especially in the U.S. and China, for it'll likely be an even better Range Rover, riding even smoother and more silently, offering better performance, and possessing improved off-road capabilities.
