Most viewers will already know that the US Air Force is planning to replace its two existing Air Force One aircraft with newer, modern replacements. Technically designated as VC-25As, the two jumbo jets that are currently flying the US president will be replaced with a pair of VC-25Bs. The former are based on the Boeing 747-200 while the latter are modified 747-8i aircraft.
