It is quite hard and unsafe to do any sort of work on a ladder on stairs. So to tackle some trim work on one such place in my house, I built this very secure and sturdy ladder platform for the stairs, and it worked like charm. This ladder hack is not my original idea, but I did make some minor modifications to the inspiration platform.

The following can be purchased from any hardware store (Home depot, Lowes etc.)
Hex bolts (3/8" thick and about 4 inches long)
1/4-20 bolts and insert nuts
