Hiking up to the top of Mount Lycabettus in Athens, Greece in May 2023. We started our walking tour from our Airbnb near Alsos Ilision park. We walked towards the mountain on the many steep steps of the streets of the Kolonaki area until we reached the nature of the hill, where we saw many cats. We took in the views of the Parthenon at the Acropolis from the top, and continued on to reach the Holy Church of Saint George of Lycabettus. We passed the cable car, or funicular, entrance and explored the eastern part of the mountain before returning back to our Airbnb.
