Famous, my blind Himalayan rat, performs a small handful of her 40+ tricks:

- Get the mail
- Dunk a basketball
- Go through hoop
- Stand up hoop and go through
- Retrieve a tissue
- Raise a flag

Famous is extremely docile and versatile, and she can be cued to do virtually anything. I just love my sweet girl. :)

I wasn't entirely satisfied with the white background as it makes Famous' coat appear less white. Ah, well. This video shows Famous' new flag which raises much more smoothly and efficiently than her old one (the string would frequently catch on the wood splinters of the previous prop).

I apologise that this video is short and nothing particularly special, although I have been unbelievably busy this summer. I shall resume uploading much better videos once things settle down (hopefully in the next couple months). I have compiled this footage of some of Famous' behaviours into this video for a company asking about her.

I also apologise to all those who have e-mailed me or left comments with questions; I have scarcely had a spare moment to read them all (much less answer them) due to my busyness the past several months, although I have been doing my very best to set aside time to respond to whichever ones I can. Once things slow down here, I will get back to everyone's messages and comments. I will also be providing an update on the animals' latest adventures on their official blog, as well as formal introductions to the newest additions to the family.
