Earlier this year Gov. Jay Inslee announced nearly 5,000 new electric vehicle charging stations are coming to more than 500 sites across the state. It marks the first phase of investments through the Washington Electric Vehicle Charging Program with support from the Climate Commitment Act.
But even as our state pushes to make owning an electric vehicle more convenient, a new poll found Americans' attitudes and experiences with EVs are about the same as 2022, with cost and convenience remaining a pressing concern.
Sarah Feldman, a senior data journalist, joined anchors Steve McCarron and Kelly Koopmans to discuss her big takeaways from the poll.
