Todd interviews Mike Perrin, a local bee inspector that has been beekeeping for over 45 years and has been a bee inspector for over 35 years. He has beekeeping in his blood, going back to his great, great grandparents. His father and grandfather were also beekeepers and bee inspectors. He has grownup watching how beekeeping has been done over the years and has a lot of valuable knowledge on these subjects. They talk about everything from history of beekeeping, honey prices then vs now, varroa mites, tracheal mites, foul brood, nosema vs dysentery, the importation of honey bees, pollination, splitting, feeding, treating and more!
