When I was 11 years old I was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome, OCD, ADHD & Anxiety. I recently asked you all if you could ask me anything about any of those things - what would it be? In this video, I answer a ton of your questions from my experience of facing mental health challenge, physical complexities and being a person of Faith through it all. I hope these answers provide some awareness for what it’s like and hopefully some support for anyone out there like me.

DEFINITIONS:
Intro to Anxiety (from the MayoClinic): It's normal to feel anxious from time to time, especially if your life is stressful. However, excessive, ongoing anxiety and worry that are difficult to control and interfere with day-to-day activities may be a sign of generalized anxiety disorder.
Tourette syndrome is a neurobiological condition causing uncontrollable movements and sounds - called tics. Tics may be mild or severe, and often times decrease in severity after adolescence and into adulthood. Most people with Tourette syndrome have associated conditions and complications such as ADHD, OCD, sleep issues, learning disabilities and more. Some people do have tic disorders without having Tourette Syndrome. - Jamie Grace
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) features a pattern of unreasonable thoughts and fears (obsessions) that lead you to do repetitive behaviors (compulsions). These obsessions and compulsions interfere with daily activities and cause significant distress.
-Mayo Clinic
ADHD includes a combination of persistent problems, such as difficulty sustaining attention, hyperactivity and impulsive behavior.
