There have been multiple mistranslations and misconceptions about the Goldmask ending, which could explain why it hasn't gotten the attention it deserves. For instance, the Greater Will did (almost) nothing wrong.

So out of the six different endings in Elden Ring, here's why the Goldmask ending is the best choice for the Lands Between. Thanks to the Mending Rune of Perfect Order Goldmask discovered, the Age of Order would prevent another Shattering from happening and would end the persecution of groups demonized by Marika's Golden Order. Ironically, by being so devout, Goldmask was branded a heretic.
