We were called out to retrieve a trailer that had driven down an unauthorized mountain road and gotten stuck on a guard rail. The trailer was fully loaded and weighed in at about 80,000lbs. We had to pick up and swing the rear of the trailer to get it off the guard rail. Some damage was caused to the subframe of the trailer causing the axle to sit sideways. This forced us to chain up the axle and remove two wheels in order to get the unit off the narrow road.
