The past few weeks has been massive on the ASIC front. This Tuesday is going to be significant milestone as submissions due to the ASIC inquiry are due.

After Tuesday, we will see the committee begin the process of accepting submissions, publishing them and then moving to public hearings. Adams expects to be called to hearings.

In a previous show, Adams said that he wanted heads to roll at ASIC that has been achieved to a limited degree now – two senior executives, according to the AFR have now or are intending to leave ASIC.

It was extraordinary set of events last week which is worth discussing. 1.5 weeks ago, Senator Bragg asked ASIC about an investigation into ASIC Deputy Chair Karen Chester.
