Hand tremors may be seen in isolation or in association with movement disorders. It is important to distinguish the clinical features of different types of tremors in order to provide goal-directed medical therapy and patient-centered care. In this video, we aim to differentiate between essential tremor and parkinsonian tremor by highlighting important clinical characteristics and associated symptoms, so that you may counsel your patient on their diagnosis and provide appropriate follow-up care.
