Our first backpacking trip of the season was full of snow fields, wet socks, and most importantly, a ridge traverse that nearly pushed us to our limit! The Crystal Range Traverse in Desolation Wilderness spans over 2 miles, hitting 4 peaks along the way - it's a challenging scramble but a worthy adventure and a great test of our new gear!
