Cry was recorded in 2006-2007 along with the rest of the tracks on the Good Girl Gone Bad album. The demo was performed by Frankie Storm. It failed to release on standard editions of the album for unknown reasons. The track ended up being released on UK and Japanese versions of the album as the 13th track of the album.
