The holiday season is here and I was in the kitchen with the wonderful chef Amaris Jones whipping up some Michelob ultra inspired dishes. Refreshing Reindeer Punch, sweet potato biscuits with cinnamon butter that make you feel good, delicious beer brined turkey chops finished with a holiday kale salad topped with citrus beer dressing.

Reindeer Punch
1/2 bottle of Michelob Ultra
16 oz cold pressed beet/orange Juice
8 oz brewed hibiscus tea
3 oz of lime juice
6 oz of agave or sweeter of choice
Fresh rosemary sprigs
Fresh mint leaves
Candy canes

Sweet Potato Biscuits
1 oz Michelob Ultra
3/4 cup cooked mashed sweet potato (from one large sweet potato)
1/3 - 1/2 cup whole milk, as needed
1-1/2 cups all purpose flour, spooned into measuring cup and leveled-off with back edge of knife
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into small chunks

Cinnamon Beer Butter
1 oz Michelob Ultra
Cinnamon
Brown sugar
Honey

Beer Brined Smothered Turkey Chops
1/2 can Michelob Ultra
Turkey brine
3 or 4 6 oz turkey cutlets
1 quart of apple cider
1 cup of packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons of cumin
1 large onion chopped
1 bunch of rosemary
1 bunch of thyme
2 cups of chilly water
1/4 cup kosher salt

Holiday Kale Salad
2 bushes of curly kale
1 cup of dried cranberries
1 cup of roasted pumpkin seeds or pecans
1 handful of pickled onions or marinated red onions
1 euro cucumber
1 cup of shredded carrots
1 cup of green apples chopped

Citrus Beer Dressing
1/4 cup Michelob Ultra
2 teaspoons of dijon mustard
1 tablespoon of honey or agave
1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 tablespoon of minced onion
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1/4 cup of cold-pressed orange juice
1 teaspoon of orange pepper seasoning
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
Kosher salt and pepper to taste
