There were bits of plastic found in the oil pan during a previous repair. I determined that the only possible place for it to come from was the timing chain tensioner. There was also some noise coming from this area so I decided to check it out. I found the tensioner completely destroyed as well the HPFP damaged. I replaced the chain, tensioner, high pressure fuel pump as well a a bunch of gaskets.
