The Nephilim and The Son's of God

The Bible has a whole host of characters who are hard to understand from the western mind. One of these characters are the "sons of God" another is the "Nephilim". Are the Sons of God descendants of Seth, are the sons of God fallen angels, or are the Sons of God some kind of ancient kings.
