In this trailer for the DCU's Blue Beetle we meet Jaime Reyes, a young guy just trying to find his way in life. He works hard and then runs into a powerful piece of alien technology that fuses with him and changes EVERYTHING..including his family.

Xolo Maridueña leads a beautiful cast of latino and diverse actors, telling the story of how a whole family responds to one of their own facing truly remarkable odds.

Not only are the action sequences super exciting but they seem tethered to a wholesome story that should stand the test of time. Blue Beetle moves like a power ranger and even has moments of resembling The Guyver…anyone know about the Guyver? Manga by Yoshiki Takaya? Not a very good movie but super cool concept…

On August 18th we will finally meet Jaime Reyes and his family on the BIG SCREEN. So glad this will not be in streaming when first released…
