15 years ago, Rosalind Russell's attempts to sing the score of "Gypsy (1962) were released. Only 1 1/2 of her songs were used in the film (for example, she was painfully sharp on every jump in "Some People"), and Lisa Kirk replaced everything else, including this song.
But I just found some great software that can isolate vocal tracks, and I've worked for days to correct her 11 off-pitch notes in this song. It was a ridiculous amount of work. What do you think - could they have used this? She's no singer, but she does act the hell out of the song.
