This week’s video started out with a very special send off. We arrived back to our hometown just in time to help Jess’ mom and stepdad pack up and head out on their first big RV trip out West! It is hard to express the intensity of that moment. We began this journey after losing Jess’ dad to ALS and now to see her mom in this place of finding her new SOMEDAY in a similar way was surreal and so joyful! We are extremely grateful for Jess’ stepdad and his place in our family.

Corey had one goal and one goal alone when we got back home: WASH THE TRUCK! He shared some tips on how to start if you have some serious caked on dirt and was cheered on by his moral support team sitting close by! We wanted to share with you guys not only Maine’s beautiful coastline this season but also the beauty that can be found inland! So we decided to become weekenders and take off from Jess’ mom’s house for a 2 night and 3 day RV trip to Mount Blue State Park for some Maine woods camping and to re-do an amazing hike that we did 6 years ago right before we hit the road: Tumbledown Mountain.

Our campsite far exceeded our expectations and included an amazing gift left by the previous campers! We decided to make good use of it and grilled kabobs over the fire. It was truly a perfect night of camping!
