In this video we look at a project evaluating the integration policies of European countries for those who are beneficiaries of international protection. “Beneficiaries of international protection” is a broad term that applies to many types of migrants who have fled their home countries to seek protection abroad. While we’ll primarily use the term “refugee” in this video, the project’s goals apply to asylum seekers, people with temporary protection, and resettled refugees. The National Integration Evaluation Mechanism (NIEM) is a six-years long transnational project supporting key actors in the integration field to improve the integration outcomes of beneficiaries of international protection.
