Eryi's Action is a trap platformer where every level is covered in hidden ways to die - it's not always super obvious watching gameplay, but if I'm jumping over something it's probably because you die if you walk there. EX mode limits how many lives you have to clear the game and has a special final boss unique to the mode, otherwise is the same as the normal game. Oddly, once you know all the traps, the platforming doesn't really present much difficulty of execution, and then the hardest part of the run is the final boss(es) which are a horizontal shmup.

The code to deal 9999 damage during the turn based RPG fight is Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, Right, Grab, Action (arrow keys then C, Z on keyboard). The fight is winnable without it, but it's definitely faster.
