Watch how to install a new keypad deadbolt into an entry door. This video features a Schlage Camelot Electronic Keypad Deadbolt, but other brands should install very similar to this one.
You'll learn what order to install the parts in and how to adjust the door frame for a larger strike plate if necessary.

To perform this installation, you'll need a:
Philips screwdriver,
hand drill,
drill bit for pre-drilling the reinforcement screws (about 3/32" or 1/8" diameter would work),
a chisel,
and a hammer.

If you don't need to open up the pocket in the door for the larger strike plate, you won't need a chisel and hammer.
