Oddly enough, there still are outspoken critics of Warriors superstar Steph Curry. As if he already hasn't proven them wrong time and time again.

Former NBA guard Mike James joined the "Players Choice" podcast on July 30, where he provided his list of the top-five players in the league, one where Curry noticeably was missing from.

On James' list was his former Brooklyn Nets teammate Kevin Durant, Lakers superstar LeBron James, Philadelphia 76ers' Joel Embiid, Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo and Dallas Mavericks' Luka Dončić.

When asked why he left Curry off the list, James offered his critique of Steph as a point guard and how he compares to the five superstars he included on the list.

“Steph, how he plays and how he gets stuff off, it’s just kinda one-dimensional at times,” James said. “He’s not the primary ball-handler a lot, and for a point guard that kinda bothers me.”

“I think those other five can do whatever they want to do on any team in the world right now,” James added. “I just don’t know about that for Steph. It’s a little murky for Steph… If you put him in Minnesota, he would still kill, but I don’t know if it would be the same.”
