Follow RAV4 Adventures as we explore Jekyll Island, Georgia in our 2024 Toyota RAV4 TRD Off Road. We'll visit the the Atlantic Ocean Beach, Historic Horton House, Georgia Sea Turtle Center, Bicycle Paths, Driftwood Beach, The Wharf Restaurant and Historic Jekyll Island Club Resort.

Jekyll Island Travel Tips:
There is a $10 entrance fee to get onto the island. We stopped at the Winn-Dixie just west of I-95 in Brunswick, GA and topped up the RAV4's Gas Tank and stocked up on plenty of Bottled Water, Bug Spray and Sunburn Spray. Many locals recommended Orange Bounce Fabric Softener Sheets to repel the nasty biting bugs that come out in the spring – We were there mid April and they were everywhere. The island's tap water smells and tastes like swamp water, and the Sand Gnats or No-See-Em bugs, will eat you alive and make you itch for weeks.
