Thanksgiving that year was on November 22. This show aired the night before that. Guests included Tony Randall, and drummer Buddy Rich.
This clip includes the opening monologue, the segment at the desk, (Johnny and Doc) and the segment at the end of Tony Randall's interview leading into Buddy Rich, followed by Buddy's smoking hot performance with the Tonight Show band (he was always incredible to watch).
