Nasi Liwet is a very popular Indonesian rice dish, and today I made Sundanese style. Originally Sundanese style didn't use coconut milk but i like to flavour the rice with coconut milk so for this recipe I did. I hope you enjoy the video, matur suksma 🙏🏽😊

Ingredients :
For the Rice :
500 gr Jasmine rice or fluffy long grain white rice
100 ml fresh coconut milk or you can also use from the carton
400 ml hot water add to the rice after first steam
1 tsp Mushroom bouillon powder or you can add chicken
1/2 tsp salt
Banana leaves

For the topping :
100 gr Bitter beans or Pete
2 big red chilli
15 pcs small green chilli
10 pcs Bali hot pepper
100 gr shallots
50 gr garlic
2 pcs spring onion
100 gr salted fish I’m using salted whitebait (Terri Medan)
20 gr Galangal
5 pcs Kaffir lime leaves
5 pcs Salam leaves
2 pcs Lemongrass
100 ml vegetable oil
1/2 tsp mushroom or chicken bouillon powder
2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt (optional)
